碗莲是近年来家庭养花的新宠,因其植株矮小,花小叶小,可植于花盆或碗中观赏而得名。但它比较娇气,莳养时必须掌握它的栽培技巧。 盆土的选用 首先要选好种养的容器,一般可选择20-25厘米口径,15-20厘米深的碗或其他器皿。泥盆、瓦盆容易渗水,不宜选用。瓷盆、釉盆虽可选用,但必须将盆底用水泥堵死后方可使用。碗莲要求含有机质丰富的塘泥或稻田泥作栽培土,蔬菜地的园土也可,土层一般占全盆的3/5。
