美国国家信息标准化组织(NISO)于近日宣布发布NISO Z39.102-201x草案版本,即《STS:标准标签套件》(STS:Standards Tag Suite),以征求公众意见。STS提供了一种通用的XML格式,标准开发人员、发布商和分销商都可以使用它来发布和交换标准的全文内容和元数据。在草案版本的意见得到解决,并得到了NISO表决委员会和美国国家标准研究所的同意之后,这一标准将会正式发布,预计会在今年秋季。
The United States National Information Standardization Organization (NISO) recently announced the release of draft version NISO Z39.102-201x, or “STS: Standards Tag Suite” for public comment. STS provides a common XML format that standard developers, publishers, and distributors can use to publish and exchange standard full-text content and metadata. After the draft version of Opinion has been resolved and with the agreement of the NISO voting committee and the National Institute of Standards, the standard will be officially released and is expected to be available this autumn.
