1954年以來,我們根据教育部的指示,依照新的教学程序,編写了新的中学历史教科书。經过两年多的时間,这些教科书,大部分已經編好,从今年秋季起,將在全国中等学校里开始使用。其中有些已經在部分学校里进行試教,在教学实踐中作了一次檢查;有些还沒有进行試教。为了配合社会主义建設的步驟,适应当前历史教学的迫切需要,把原来計划中的使用时間提早了一年,这就需要在全国范围的教学实踐里作更广泛的檢查,才能减少缺点和錯誤。这些教科書,是在教育部的领导下,集中相当力
Since 1954, according to the instruction of the Ministry of Education, we have compiled a new history textbook for high school according to the new teaching procedure. After more than two years, most of these textbooks have been compiled and, starting from autumn of this year, will be put to use at the national secondary schools. Some of them have been taught in some schools and have been inspected in teaching practice; others have not conducted any teaching. In order to meet the steps of socialist construction and to adapt to the urgent needs of current history teaching, and to make the planned use of the original plan one year earlier, it needs to be examined more extensively in nationwide teaching practice in order to reduce shortcomings and error. These textbooks, under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, are focused rather energetically
