翦伯赞同志,湖南桃源县人,原北京大学教授、副校长,是为在我国建立马克思主义历史科学作出了贡献的著名历史学家。他是北大的光荣,也是湖南的光荣。今年教师节前夕,翦老的学生、吉林省四平市教育学院讲师、吉林省中学历史教研会副理事长邵承凡同志,根据自己在北大就学期间耳濡目染的有关翦老的一些平凡小事,写成一篇回忆文字,并投书本刊,希望予以发表,以示学生对老师的怀念之情。这篇文章没有丝毫雕饰,读来亲切、自然,写的虽是一些平凡小事,但字里行间无不反映出翦老谦逊、严谨的治学态度、平易近人的高尚品德和对后辈的殷殷期望,因此,值得一读。 Jiao Bozan, a native of Taoyuan County in Hunan Province and a former professor and vice-chancellor of Peking University, is a famous historian who has made contributions to establishing the historical science of Marxism in our country. He is a glorious Peking University, Hunan is also honorable. On the eve of Teacher’s Day this year, old students, Lecturer of Siping City Institute of Education in Jilin Province, Comrade Shao Chengfan, the vice-chairman of Jilin Province Middle School History Teaching and Research Society, wrote a memorabilia on the basis of what they learned about their old age during their study in Peking University Text, and vote books, hoping to be published in order to show students miss the teacher’s feelings. This article is not carved, read, cordial, natural, although it is a trivial thing to write, but all the lines reflect the old humility, rigorous scholarship, approachable noble character and earnest expectation to the younger generation. Therefore, it is worthwhile read.
