笔者曾读过一些有关“沟通”的文章。它们在讨论沟通的重要性时,一般都强调作为沟通的一方,管理人员必需把已经确定的企业策略、方向等告诉沟通的另一方,即中下层管理人员和普通员工。这样做没有错。但是许多文章作者对于沟通的另一重要任务,即“听”,注意不够。在他们看来,沟通似乎就是“我打你通”,沟通也就变成了单行道。最近阅读英特尔公司总裁安蒂·格鲁夫写的重要著作《惧者生存》。格氏在“有助的卡桑特拉(英文原文为Cansandra,文中指最早发出危险信号的人)”这一节中明确提出应该“把听作为一种投资”。读时如醒醐灌顶,猛然省悟:沟通应是名副其实的双行道。有人说,上帝给我们每个人两只耳朵一张嘴,为的就是让我们多听少说。你觉得此话是否有理?现特编译格鲁夫的文章,以飨读者。
I have read some articles about “communication”. When discussing the importance of communication, they generally emphasize that as a party to communication, managers must tell the other party to the communication, ie middle and lower managers and ordinary employees, about the established corporate strategy and direction.
