From December 8 to December 12, 1980, the first academic conference of color optics for the China Optical Society was held in Qingdao. One hundred and eighteen Dai Mai, from 76 units in 12 provinces and cities nationwide, Participated in this meeting. Wang Daheng, chairman of China Optical Society, and executive vice president Su Wei attended the meeting.
