Many different exercise programs are used in clinical cardiology. Because there is no single test for a wide range of patients’ exercise capacity, two options are available in many locations, one in better-health patients and the other in more restricted patients. The purpose of this study was to find a solution that accommodates all patients’ exercise capacity and can be applied to a flatbed or foot powered vehicle. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Thirty healthy male volunteers (mean age 38 years, 28-55 years; mean body weight 74 kg, 57-97 kg) were enrolled in a new exercise trial compared to the standard regimen. The new design was started with a low workload (2 MET, 7 ml / kg / min) and the initial increment was maintained at a small 15% load increase per minute. This approach results in an exponential increase in workload, which is reached after 15 minutes for patients who need to test relatively healthy patients. This
