Soy isoflavones (SI) is a kind of flavonoids in soybeans and other soy products, the basic skeleton is 3-phenylchroman. In recent years, it has been found that SI has various pharmacological effects such as prevention of cancer, treatment of menopausal syndrome and improvement of osteoporosis. [1] At present, various flavonoids have been shown to have hepatoprotective and renal protective effects.
