《逸老堂诗话》由明代余弁所著,因其体制驳杂,故对俞弁的诗学思想亦只能是抱以“窥一豹而见全身,见一粟而观沧海”的念想从各则诗话的论述中探求。《逸老堂诗话》并未显名于世,连《四库全书总目提要》中都没有收录。清卢文弨在《逸老堂诗话跋》中评其曰:“顾其书虽无大过人处,而叙述亦斑驳可喜。”可见还是有可取之处。本文试从三个方面论述俞弁在《逸老堂诗话》中所体现的诗歌审美理想:贵含蓄;贵平易敦厚;喜出新意。
