勤苦自励自古勤政者,大都以勤苦自励,而念念于民事。“勤”与“苦”好似孪生兄弟,那些勤于政务者,大都不畏艰苦,不贪图个人享受。这样的官员在所在的朝代与时代树立了良好的形象,同时也为百姓所信赖。清末在江西任知县的冷鼎亨就是这样一个深得百姓好评与信赖的地方官。冷鼎亨,字镇雄,山东招远人,同治四年(1865)进士,他先后在江西五个县任职,历官十余载。他留给人们的印象是, Diligent self-encouragement diligent politicians, most of them hard-working self-motivation, and read in the civil. “Qin ” and “bitter ” is like a twin brother, those diligent government, most afraid of hardship, not for personal enjoyment.
