Wei Guoqing, Donglan County, Zhuang, born in 1913, participated in the Weipu Qun leadership of the Peasant Self-Defense Forces in 1927, and participated in the Baise Uprising in December 1929. In the period of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as propagandist, platoon leader, company commander, cadre regiment special branch manager and acting director. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Wei Guoqing served as president of the Eighth Route Army camp camp, anti-first-year principal and chief education officer. In the winter of 1939, he was transferred to the front of East China. He served successively as political commissar of the Third Detachment of the Fifth Column of the Eighth Route Army and the commissar of the Ninth Progressive Detachment of Longhai, the Ninth National Political Commissar of the Third Division of the New Fourth Army and the chief of staff of the Huaibei Military Region.
