Recent studies of twins have suggested that genetic obesity is hereditary but there is no data on biological parents in studies of obesity in adoptive children and there is no body weight study to support genetic linkages with obesity. In the middle of the 3580 registered Danish adoption between 1924 and 1947, the authors selected 540 current adoptees who were 42 years old as a mean. All those whose biological parents and adoptive parents have a blood relationship are ruled out, and the biological data of both biological parents and adoptive parents are well documented. According to the body mass index - height (m) / body weight (kg) ~ 2, the subjects were divided into 4 groups: lean (male 16.0-20.1, female 12.8-18.2)
