辽白5号是由辽宁省农科院园艺研究所利用辽白1号做试材,采取自交分离选择与混合选优的方法选育成的高产、优质、耐瘠、中熟、矮棵大白菜新品种,业已通过辽宁省农作物品种审定委员会审定。 1.特征特性株高和株幅均为44厘米左右,菜叶绿色,菜邦浅绿色,叶球矮筒形,株型紧凑,结球性好,包球实,外叶少,平均单株重2.5公斤,净菜率高,品质优良。生育日数75天左右,是番茄、黄瓜、莱豆、小麦、油菜等多种夏收作物的理想下茬蔬菜。 2.产量表现据多年试验、试种与示范结果表明,无论种植在平肥地上还是种植在缓坡地上或丘陵地上,都可稳定地获得较高的产量,平均亩6800公斤,比对照品种增产6.5%,不仅增产潜力大,而且稳定性也好。
