在初中英语课堂教学中，传统的教学模式限制了学生探究未知的能动性。在英语教学逐步由“应试教育”向素质教育转轨的过程中，摆在教育工作者面前紧迫而又艰巨的一项任务是更新观念、开拓创新、努力提高教学质量。英语教师根据学生特点、教学环境，采取更高效的教育方法，培养学生的创造性思维和解决问题的能力。
