In the spring and summer of this year, Renmin University of China was commissioned by the State Education Commission and was led by the Institute of Marxist Theory Education to hold a series of senior seminars for teachers of Marxist theory in universities all over the country. The seminar started on March 26 and closed on June 26. The 20 students participating in the seminar came from 15 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the country and over 75% had senior professional titles. The seminar was organized in the light of the current international and domestic situation, in particular the need of strengthening the teaching of Marxist theory in colleges and universities.
