服务是工商联的立会之本,信息服务是服务立会的重要内容。当今世界正处在由物质型经济向信息型经济的转变时期,知识经济已见端倪。信息网络是知识经济“知识基础设施”的重要组成部分,信息是知识经济社会中国家生存发展的关键因素之一,信息工作已成为企业竞争中越来越重要的生产力要素。有规模、有远见的私营企业家,对现代经济条件下的信息服务极为重视。不少私营企业家在选择二次创业方向、迎接新一轮的挑战中,对信息的需求极为迫切。顺应这一要求,省工商联自1994年起开展了为会员的信息服务工作,经过几年努力,目前已形成上联国家、全国工商联及省信息中心,下接各省辖市、部分县(市)工商联及会员企业,横贯周边省市工商联及信息单位的网络体系,初步形成双向传输、反应快捷、集各类信息服务于一体的信息服务体系。联结省工商联内部各处室的局域网也开始运转,为会员服务的效率有了新的提高,领域进一步拓宽。

Complying with this requirement, the provincial federation of industry and commerce carried out the information service for its members since 1994.
