国家稳定、社会和谐,历来是执政者治国安邦的一个重要目标,也是人们普遍追求的一种社会理想。当今社会,不同的国家和地区对社会发展模式做出了多种多样的选择。党的十六届四中全会提出了“构建社会主义和谐社会”的科学命题,十六届六中全会又做出《关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》。这是一种新型的社会治理模式,是中国特色社会主义理论的重大发展。
National stability and social harmony have always been an important goal of governing the country and bringing prosperity to the country. It is also a social ideal universally pursued. In today’s society, different countries and regions have made a wide range of choices on the mode of social development. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee put forward the scientific proposition of “building a socialist harmonious society.” The Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee has also made the “Decision on Some Important Issues in Building a Harmonious Socialist Society.” This is a new model of social governance and a major development of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
