8月3日16时30分,云南省昭通市鲁甸县(北纬27.1度,东经103.3度)发生6.5级地震,震源深度12公里,震中位于鲁甸县龙头山镇。截至8月8日,共导致617人遇难,112人失踪,3143人受伤,108.84万人受灾,22.97万人紧急转移安置;8.09万间房屋倒塌,12.91万间严重损坏;解放军和武警部队近万兵力参与抗震救灾。6.5级地震,损失为何如此之大?地震专家给出了如下解释。
At 1630 hours on August 3, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake occurred in Ludian County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province (27.1 degrees north latitude and 103.3 degrees east longitude) with a focal depth of 12 kilometers. The epicenter was located in Longtoushan Town, Ludian County.
