To investigate the effect of bone marrow transplantation (BMT) process on erythropoietin (Epo) production and erythroid regeneration, the authors measured the changes of serum Epo in 17 hematopoietic malignancies after BMT. The 17 patients aged 16-48 years old, 16 males and 2 females.
