人类乳头瘤病毒(human papillomavirus,HPV)属DNA病毒,其类型很多(约100种以上),其中16和18型是宫颈癌的致病因素,同时有10多个类型与尖锐湿疣等疾病有关(如6、11、16、18及33型,最常见6和11型)[1]。HPV主要感染人体皮肤及黏膜的复层鳞状上皮,而目前体外培养尚未成功[1-2]。
