In this study, 11 patients with atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) frequent episodes of patients taking a small dose of verapamil (120mg / day, 7-10 days) before and after noninvasive electrophysiological control study. The results showed that: 1. The induction rate of AVNRT was significantly decreased (P = 0.045), the RR interval of AVNRT was prolonged, the time window of induction window was shortened (P <0.0025), 2. The effective refractory period of fast path and slow path was prolonged, (P <0.001), 3.SR jump value was reduced (P <0.001), and it was positively correlated with the time-limited window of evoked window (r = 0.61, P <0.005). The authors accordingly believe that: a small dose of verapamil can prevent or reduce the induction of AVNRT, the mechanism lies in the two paths can be matched between conduction velocity and refractory changes.
