“高技术之路”——欧洲新出现的跨国高科技密集区 兴建科技密集区是当今世界各国为加速发展高技术而广泛采取的一条途径。美国的硅谷、日本的技术密集城以及美国和其它许多国家建立的科学园区、科技三角区等就是这一趋势的产物。现在欧洲又出现了一种最新的科技密集区,即所谓的“高技术之路”。 高技术之路的枢纽在法国的南部,很快它就将向东西两个方面发展,形成一条从西班牙巴塞罗那一直延伸到意大利热那亚的高技术走廊。现在已经有200多家公司涌入这条高技术之路。主要是微电子、信息技术、通信、光电子技术及生物医学工程等领域中的中小公司。有人又把这条高技术之路称为欧洲南部的“硅海岸”。
“The Road to High Technology” - Europe’s Emerging Transnational Hi-tech Dense Area The construction of a technology-intensive area is a widely adopted approach by all countries in the world today to speed up the development of high technology. Silicon Valley in the United States, Japan’s technology-intensive city and the science park, science and technology triangle established by the United States and many other countries are the products of this trend. Now there is another newest technology-intensive area in Europe, the so-called “road of high technology.” The hub of high technology is in the south of France, and soon it will develop in both east and west directions, forming a high-tech corridor that stretches from Barcelona, Spain, to Genoa, Italy. More than 200 companies have now flooded into this high-tech road. Mainly microelectronics, information technology, communications, optoelectronics and biomedical engineering in areas such as small and medium-sized companies. Someone once again called this high-tech road the “Silicon Coast” in southern Europe.
