手术室是个特殊的场所,由于涉及面广,人员流动量大、工作节奏快,同时病人病情复杂、意外情况发生多,产生医疗纠纷甚至出现医疗事故的可能性大.加强安全管理是减少质量缺陷、提高护理水平的关键环节,是控制或消灭不安全因素、避免发生医疗纠纷和事故的需要.
