通径分析包括: 1.由M-1个自变数和1个依变数的n组观察值,计算出两两相关系数; 2.由相关系数,测验各个自变数的显著性,逐个剔除对依变数为不显著的所有自变数; 3.评定各个显著自变数对依变数的作用大小,即计算直接和间接通径系数。以上三个过程是有机联系的整体。每一过程又包括若干步骤,因而头绪较多,计算工作量大,利用电子计算机计算,势在必行。
