法国电影业的前途如何?这是当前电影界人士最关心的一个问题。从今年第一季度的调查结果来看,前景不妙。电影业的不景气主要表现在票房价值的惨跌。据统计,第一季度只有14%的在法居民进过电影院,而其中法国电影仅占发行量的26%。这个数据是令人担忧的。更糟的是,在刚结束的嘎纳国际电影节上推出的新片,除《约会》、《证人》等少数影片外,大部分片子无人问津,影响不大。电影场内观众寥寥无几。据此有关专家预计,这种萧条景象还将在第二季度进一步加剧。为此,法国国家电影中心已决定,对电影市场的现状进行专题研究,以便找出原因,对症下药。
What is the future of the French cinema industry? This is one of the issues that most people in the film industry are most concerned about. From the first quarter of this year’s survey results, the outlook is not good. The downturn in the movie industry was mainly reflected in the dramatic drop in the box office value. According to statistics, only 14% of French residents in the first quarter of the year entered the cinema, of which French films accounted for only 26% of the circulation. This data is worrying. To make matters worse, most of the new films released at the Cannes International Film Festival just ended did not have much impact on films except “dating” and “witness” films. There are very few viewers in the movie theater. Accordingly, the experts concerned predict that such a depression will further intensify in the second quarter. To this end, the French national film center has decided to conduct a thematic study of the current situation in the movie market, in order to find out the reasons for the right remedy.
