Although the diagnosis and treatment of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD) has been greatly improved in recent years, the main cause of CHD and its complications is still threatening human health and life. Therefore, the identification of asymptomatic CHD individuals or established CHD but high risk of recurrent patients is particularly important, but also the main task of contemporary research on CHD. Lipoprotein Associated Phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) is a newly discovered inflammatory factor involved in the development of atherosclerosis (AS). It predicts the risk of coronary events, determines the extent of coronary artery disease, and identifies residual and risk factors Layer re-classification, etc. have very important value. This article reviews the research progress of Lp-PLA2 in CHD.
