德州市有乡镇水利站161个,在编职工843人。随着社会主义市场经济的建立,乡镇水利站的业务范围已由原来的建设服务型发展到水利工程规划、设计与施工、水土整治、水资源的开发利用与科学配置、节水灌溉、水行政管理和执法等方面,作用和地位越来越重要。但也存在着一些不容忽视的问题,应引起足够的重视。
