Since the 1960s, window air conditioners in our country have developed rapidly. However, its varieties and specifications are still insufficient, especially the development of heat pump air conditioners is still slow. For this reason, in recent years, we conducted experiments on some Japanese heat pump-type window-type air conditioners on our laboratory’s calibrated room heat balance test bench, and preliminary explored the performance and quality of heat-pumped window-type air conditioners abroad.
