92年3月12日中国和香港签署了一项从崖城13—1气田向香港供应天然气的初步协议。在协议书上签字的代表是卖方的中国海洋石油总公司和合作伙伴美国大西洋富田公司及科威特国外石油勘探公司,买方为香港中华电力公司和香港的埃克森能源公司。该协议是由中国海洋石油总公司从1996年1月1日起,从距海南岛以南90公里处的崖城13—1气田交付天然气至香港,连续供气20年。供气量为每天280百万标准立方英尺。这批天然气将供给由中华电力公司在也门新建的“黑岬”(Bpack Point)热电站作为600兆瓦
March 12, 1992 China and Hong Kong signed a preliminary agreement to supply natural gas to Hong Kong from Yacheng 13-1 gas field. Representatives signed the agreement is the seller of China National Offshore Oil Corporation and partners in the United States Atlantic Ocean Tomita Corporation and Kuwaiti foreign oil exploration company, the buyer is Hong Kong CLP Power Company and Hong Kong’s Exxon Energy Corporation. The agreement was started by CNOOC on January 1, 1996 to deliver natural gas to Hong Kong from Yacheng 13-1 gas field 90 kilometers south of Hainan Island for a continuous supply of gas for 20 years. The gas supply is 280 million standard cubic feet per day. The natural gas will be supplied to the new Bpack Point thermal power plant in Yemen by CLP Power as 600 MW
