核桃是我国重要木本油料,含油量高,油质好。核桃仁富有营养,除作为食品外,也有医疗功效,是中药中常用之补品。核桃树木材坚韧而富弹性,适于制造高级器具。果皮、叶和树皮可提炼鞣酸,果壳可制活性炭,所以长期来为我国广大群众所喜爱。核桃主要分布在我国华北,西北及西南诸省。解放后我省陆续引种,如建德县1956年从贵州引进,我系1960年在临安开始引种试验。在文化大革命期间,广大贫下中农为了落实毛主席关于“备战、备荒、为人民”和“发展生产,保障供给”等指示,大量引种核桃。据有关部门
Walnut is an important woody oil, high oil content, good oil quality. Walnut nutritious, in addition to as food, but also medical efficacy, is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine supplements.
