The Northwest Hebei Gold Concentration Area is an important part of the gold ore belt in the northern margin of the North China Platform. The gold deposits in the area mainly occur in the Shuiquanigou alkaline complex and adjacent Archean metamorphic rocks. The results of Ar-Ar isotopic dating show that the difference between the gold mineralization age (172 ~ 188 Ma) and the age of formation of the Shuishigou alkaline complex (304 ~ 306 Ma) is 120 Ma. Comprehensive study concluded that the gold deposit is not a direct evolution of alkaline magma, but under the influence of the Yanshanian tectono-magmatic activity, the underground circulating hydrothermal fluid is leached and extracted from the source rock-alkaline complex to form gold-rich The result is the result of sedimentation and enrichment in the favorable metallogenic tectonic setting. Therefore, all the gold deposits in this area belong to remodeled hydrothermal gold related to alkaline complex.
