为了解巨尾桉 (Eucalyptus grandis× E.urophylla)内含物对其他植物的他感作用 ,分别用巨尾桉的新鲜枝叶和枯枝叶的水浸提液进行水稻、蕹菜 (Ipomoea aquatica)和菜苔(Brassica parachinensis Bailey)花种子发芽试验。经鲜液供水的水稻种子平均发芽率、发芽势分别为 95%、 6 0 % ,略低于对照的 97%和 6 2 % ;蕹菜种子平均发芽率、发芽势为 93%、 6 2 % ,略低于对照的 94 %、 72 % ;苔菜种子平均发芽率、发芽势为 31%、 2 2 % ,对照为 99%、 75%。枯液供水的水稻种子平均发芽率、发芽势为 89%、 52 % ,略低于对照的 98%、 6 5% ;蕹菜种子平均发芽率、发芽势为 87%、 4 7% ,低于对照的 95%、 59% ;苔菜种子平均发芽率、发芽势为 2 %、 2 % ,对照为 98%、 78%。说明巨尾桉枝叶水浸提液不同程度影响供试作物的种子萌芽。在巨尾桉林分下坡面不宜种植苔菜 ,进行水稻育秧或种植蕹菜时 ,应避免引用坡面水灌溉
