叶澄衷是我国近代商界的一个重量级人物,其经营理财的奋斗历程、传奇般的人生经历一直被后人津津乐道。14岁时,叶澄衷来到上海寻求谋生的机会,经人推荐到一家杂货铺当学徒。他的工作就是摇一只小舢板穿梭在黄埔江上,向江船上的水手们兜卖各种杂货。三年后,叶澄衷学到了许多经商之道,也悟出了不少生意经。于是,17岁的叶澄衷开始在上海滩独立闯荡。虽然他仍是驾着舢舨在黄浦江上售卖杂货,但已可以自主经营,方式上也更加灵活多样。
Ye Chengzhong is a heavyweight figure in China's modern business community. His fate of managing financial affairs and his legendary life experience have been remembered by his descendants.
