近些年,随着我国加入WTO,及全球一体化进程的加快,我国与世界各国的交流与经贸往来更为密切,英语作为国际通用媒介语言,在我国受到越来越多的重视。现阶段,我国各级各类高校都开设了大学英语课程。然而受办学水平、实力与经验等因素影响,我国各类各层次高校间的英语课程教学水平与质量存在很大差别。尤其是作为我国高等教育序列新成员的民办高校,无论是办学水平、实力与经验上,还是师资队伍与能力建设上都不同程度的存在短板。这些短板的存在,制约了民办高校的英语课程教学水平与质量。
In recent years, with China’s accession to the WTO and the acceleration of the process of global integration, exchanges and economic and trade exchanges between our country and other countries in the world have become even closer. As an international common language, English is receiving more and more attention in our country. At this stage, all kinds of colleges and universities in our country have opened college English courses. However, influenced by such factors as the level of running a school, strength and experience, there are great differences in the teaching quality and quality of English classes at all levels and at all levels in China. Especially as a new member of higher education in our country, private colleges and universities, both in terms of schooling level, strength and experience, or teachers and capacity building are all different levels of shortcomings. The existence of these shortcomings has restricted the teaching level and quality of English courses in private colleges and universities.
