上皮钙粘附素（E-Cadherin）为一种细胞粘附分子，它在胃癌中的表达与癌肿的浸润、转移呈负相关。它和其相关蛋白连环素及一些细胞外基质分解酶如uPA，Ⅳ型胶原酶在胃癌中的共表达情况对癌肿的生物学行为具一定的提示意义。
Epithelial cadherin (E-Cadherin) is a cell adhesion molecule whose expression in gastric cancer is negatively correlated with the invasion and metastasis of cancer. The coexpression of it with its associated protein catenin and some extracellular matrix enzymes such as uPA and type IV collagenase in gastric cancer has certain significance for the biological behavior of cancer.
