塔器在整个石油和化工生产过程中扮演着重要的角色,化工生产中原料的提纯与产品的分离提纯都是在样式各异的塔器中进行的。塔器性能的优劣直接关系到整个企业的生产运行,也决定着产品的质量和生产成本。在近几十年里,国内多家高等院校和科研院所,潜心研究化工塔器技术,并取得了很多技术成果,随着这些成果的推广和工业化应用,也涌现了一批专业塔器技术企业,在业内凡是提到塔器,就不能不让人想起对塔器技术有着突出贡献的河北工业大学化工塔器研究所所长杜佩衡教授。70岁本应是功成名就,在家尽享天伦之乐的他,为何选择投身商海博弈?带着这个疑问,本刊记者来到天津,探访这位德高望重的塔器掌门人。
