棉花的杂交育种是人工创造新类型的有效方法。我们通常所用的有有性杂交和无性杂交两种。嫁接就是指的无性杂交,它不进行授粉,而是把两种植物通过它们的营养器官(根、茎)来进行嫁接,使其营养物质互相进行同化和交换来产生杂种。无性杂交一个称为接穗,一个称为砧木。接穗就是以它去嫁接在另一个植物体上,靠砧木的营养来长大。无性杂交在理论上不仅可正确的来阐明遗传性及变异性的(?)质,而且在实践上可扩大育种的取材范围,定向地培育新品种。
Crossbred cotton is an effective way to artificially create new types. We usually have both sexual and non-sexual hybrids. Grafting refers to cloning, which does not pollinate, but grafts the two plants through their vegetative organs (roots, stems), assimilating and exchanging their nutrients with one another to produce hybrids. A cloned hybrid known as a scion, a known as the rootstock. Scion is to use it to graft in another plant, by the stock of nutrition to grow up. Asexual hybridization can theoretically not only clarify the quality of heredity and variability, but also expand the scope of breeding in practice and cultivate new varieties directionally.
