在厦门市一新区的北侧,湖滨中路与北路交叉处,原来是一片海滩,沟壑纵横,杂草丛生,污染严重,多年来一直不被人们重视,只有海鸟乐意来光顾。一九八五年八月,一个规模虽不大,但配套齐全、环境优美的居住小区全面建成,一次验收合格,同时交付使用。这个新开发区暂名为振兴新村,占地79亩。南临湖心湖,东有交通主干道擦肩而过,北侧有两幢十八层的通用写字楼在建造中,
On the north side of the new district of Xiamen City, at the intersection of Middle Hubin Road and North Road, it turned out to be a beach with ravines, weeds and grass, and serious pollution.
