INRODUCTIONBirth asphyxia may lead to disturbances of gastroentericmotility of newborn infants.The change of gut pressureand reflux are the major manifestations of the motordisturbance.To evaluate the effects of perinatal asphyxiaon the gastroenteric motility,gastric and esophageal pressureand double pH were measured in a group of asphyxiatednewborns.And,their pathophysiological and anatomicaleffects on gastroenteric function were discussed.
