有研究表明富含胆固醇酯的脂蛋白能在体内和体外中和内毒素毒性。为此对富含甘油三酯的乳糜微粒是否能在体外抑制通过鲎试验测得的内毒素活性进行了研究。实验试剂和溶液有磷酸,KBr,冰醋酸,NaOH,无热源不含防腐剂的生理盐水和水。将大肠杆菌055:B_5菌株内毒素,加水配成浓度为1μg/ml的溶液,每3ml一份置-70℃下保存备用。所制备的内毒素活性为~15内毒素单位(EU)/μg。为避免外源性内毒素污染,涉及实验中乳糜微粒分离、处理和测定的所有耐热器
Studies have shown that cholesterol ester-rich lipoproteins can neutralize endotoxin toxicity both in vivo and in vitro.
