语言表达是否流畅、地道在很大程度上取决于是否能够恰当使用多词序列。然而,中国学生学习英语时习惯于机械地、孤立地背诵单个词汇的意义,结果必然导致词汇的误用、滥用或少用等现象。本文以本族语语料库为参照,通过分析中国学生英语书面语的N元序列,揭示其在书面语语体运用、实意词块表达和特定语法结构选择等方面存在典型特征。同时,从语言、社会、文化和认知等方面阐释了其存在的原因。
Whether language is fluid or not, authenticity depends to a large extent on the proper use of multi-word sequences. However, when Chinese students learn English, they are accustomed to memorizing the meaning of a single word mechanically and in isolation, and the result will inevitably lead to the phenomenon of misuse, abuse or lack of vocabulary. Based on the native language corpus, this paper analyzes the N - gram sequence of Chinese students’ English written language and reveals its typical features in terms of the use of written language body, the expression of the meaning block and the choice of specific grammatical structures. At the same time, the reasons for its existence are explained from aspects of language, society, culture and cognition.
