二十世纪是中国由传统农业社会走向现代工业社会的重要时期,传统戏曲在这场社会大变革中,或主动或被动地开启了现代转型。河南越调自晚清以来就位列河南三大“剧种”之内,在其百年的发展过程中,经由民国时期的转型酝酿以及后来的新中国戏改运动,越调经历了早期的“正装戏”向“外装戏”的发展和演变,在演出剧目、音乐体制、表演手法、美学特征等诸多方面进行了“脱胎换骨”的改革和创新。然而如今,我们越来越发现传统的“老越调”中尚有许多可以挖掘的宝
The twentieth century was an important period for China to move from a traditional agricultural society to a modern industrial society. In this great social revolution, traditional opera opened the modern transformation either actively or passively. Since the late Qing Dynasty, Henan Yuedian has been ranked among the top three “operas” in Henan.
