草场街小学位于草场街十字以西,占地面积4333平方米,目前有教学班18个,教职工51人,学生1075人。在区委、区政府及城关区教育局的正确领导下,在全校教职工的共同努力下,本着以“办人民满意的教育”为宗旨,牢固树立服务意识、奉献意识,学校各项工作取得了飞速发展,教育质量不断提升,办学特色不断凸显。先后被兰州市教育局、城关区教育局授予教育质量进步奖、优秀奖。教学质量地不断提升,得益于学校教科研工作的有效开展。“以研促教”不仅提升了教师专业化水平,也为学校教学质量的提高奠定了坚实基础。在各级各类教学课、教学论文竞赛中,教师获得教科研奖项一百多人次。
