第八届(2015-2016)“中国地方政府创新奖”评选活动于2015年4月15日正式启动,开始接受地方党政部门、司法机关和群团组织的创新项目申报。上述机构或组织在政治改革、行政改革、公共服务和社会治理等方面的创新项目均可申请,尤其鼓励法治、透明、协商民主和生态治理等方面的创新项目申报。中国地方政府创新奖组委会将组织由知名专家学者组成的全国专家委员会严格按照科学的评估指标体系进行评选,从申请项目中选出20名“中国地方政府创新奖”入
