舆论调查是一种运用现代科学方法征询、测量、沟通、传导公共意见和社会舆情的专业活动。舆论调查在西方已有几十年的历史,在我国大陆则刚刚起步。中国人民大学舆论研究所(以下简称“舆论研究所”)作为国内第一家舆论调查与研究机构,从1986年初创至今,先后完成了20多个调研项目,取得了一批重要的研究成果,在业已活跃的中国舆论调查业中发挥着积极的作用。 Public opinion investigation is a professional activity that uses modern scientific methods to consult, measure, communicate, transmit public opinions and public opinions.
