百合又蒜脑薯、夜合、千张、中蓬花,属百合科百合属能形成鳞茎的栽培种群。原产于东亚,我国各地都有栽培,欧美各国当作花卉栽培,非常名贵。全世界的百合有100多种。1980年《中国植物志》将其归纳为80种,其中39种原产于我国。按花和叶的形态分为百合组、钟花组、卷瓣组和轮叶组4类。当作蔬菜栽培的主要是卷瓣组的种类,如卷丹、川百合、山丹等。这一组百合花的特点是花朵倒悬,花瓣翻卷如吊钟状,叶片散生。
