《教师之友》第六期首发群言先生的《新语文读本》编写手记,在教育界内外引起强烈反响。《中国青年报》9月5日“冰点”栏目也以《新语文问世记》一文对《新语文读本》的出台和《手记》的发表进行了详细的报道和高度的肯定——在成都《教师之友》杂志上,刊出了编者手记——长达4万余字,我却一口气读完。将编辑理念与选文相比照,印象更为深刻。可以毫不夸张地说,如果将这套书细细吃透(包括全书、全文),那就足以为一个中学生构建起人文素养的平台——这已经远远超越了人们通常理解的“语文”。我不由得感叹自己的中学时代为何没有这样的食粮。
