江泽民同志在党的十五大报告中指出:“在当代中国,马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论,是一脉相承的统一的科学体系.”“一脉相承”一词科学地揭示出邓小平理论与马列主义、毛泽东思想之间内在密切、统一的承续关系.其意在于郑重说明:坚持邓小平理论,就是真正坚持马列主义、毛泽东思想;高举邓小平理论的旗帜,就是真正高举马列主义,毛泽东思想的旗帜.那种为了宣传邓小平理论而把它与马列主义、毛泽东思想割裂开来,甚至予以否定的做法是完全错误的.
Comrade Jiang Zemin pointed out in his report to the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party: “In contemporary China, Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory are unified scientific systems of the same strain.” The phrase “the same strain” scientifically reveals that Deng Xiaoping Theory and Marxism- And Mao Zedong Thought, which is intended to solemnly state that upholding Deng Xiaoping Theory truly means Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought and that holding high the banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory is the banner of truly holding high the banner of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought. That kind of deconstruction of Marxism-Leninism-Mao Tse-tung’s thought in order to promote Deng Xiaoping Theory or even to deny it is totally wrong.
