20世纪八九十年代是我国招贴艺术由传统向现代转型和向多样化、多元化发展的重要时期。改革开放后,戏曲招贴在戏曲艺术发展的前提和背景下,随着政治环境的改变、经济的发展、科学技术的进步、社会文化以及大众审美的提升而产生了新的样式特征。新时期的戏曲招贴,无论在创作工具上,还是设计理念上都完全有别于之前的招贴,从主题表现、图像处理、版式设计、元素构成、印刷质量以及戏曲人物形象等方面都呈现出了现代招贴艺术的特征与风格。
