我县位于广州市以南,濒临珠江出口。位于东经113.22度,北纬22.57度,属亚热带地区,海洋性气候,具有高温,多湿、雨量充沛,台风多的气候特点。84年全年平均气温21.3℃,最高36℃,最低5.9℃,而10℃以下的低温期一年只有五十天左右。这样的气候条件,对于储粮是很不利的。我县又属商品粮产区之一,全年粮食接收量3.5亿斤,入库水份13.5％以下。储粮形式以散装为主,粮堆高三至六米,一堆垛粮食100～300万斤(500吨～1500吨)。夏
